The girls have grown fatter!!!

Schnappi went for her annual vac last Sunday... and for the 1st time in her life... she weighed 20.20kg... hahaha!!! she has never managed to hit the 20s before... even with her highly expandable tummy... always alert at the slightest possible of food!!

And Micole has grown much more too... she's now 3.3kg!! no wonder my arms ache now after carrying her... hee~~ she's picky and it's always a hassle feeding her... but so long as she's healthy... can poo can pee can play can sleep, i'll make do with the "ordeal" of her dinner hour... :P

Schnappi... a good mother?

Nope.. nothing wrong with ur eyes... that's what Bernard said when he saw Micole "provoking" Schnappi... hee~~

Micole girl has this submissive streak when she plays with Schnappi... she seldom likes to lie on her back but when she plays with Schnappi, she would lie down paws up and starts enjoying herself thoroughly... and then squeak if Schnappi bites her head or ears... hahaha... no wonder Lucky Pa said malteses got the SM symptons... :P

Sometimes Schnappi would just sit there... and Micole will stand on her hinds trying to reach jiejie's face... and if Schnappi is in good mood, she'll just sit there allowing the meimei to disturb her... seeing this, Bernard commented that Schnappi is very tolerant and would make a good mother... :) hmmm... maybe... who knows... but she's oredi spayed... think we'll never be able to find out... :)

Schnappi went-ed grooming... finally!!

After weeks of nagging, Schnappi is finally sent for grooming... after maybe 4 months since her last shower?? She's been scratching and biting herself... but Bb claimed it's her habit... not because she's dirty... yayaya~~~ The undeniable fact is - she smells... very "doggie" if u know what I mean... and she's adding to my collection of furballs daily...

And so.. at long last, she went for her shower, cut, removing undercoat... and back came a nice-smelling and neat-looking girl... *happy happy* Groomer told Bb that there was a cat sent for grooming, and Schnappi looked as if she's going to feast on it... haha... no choice, cats are really Schnappi's weakness!! And as usual she made lotsa noise at the groomer's. They must be happy to "get rid" of her when Bb picked her up... :P

She was pretty tired when she reached home... not even bothered when Micole tried to disturb her... but when time for walk came, she was damn alert again and off went the 2 girls with their daddy~~~

Micole's training... updates

Heel work

- Personally I considered MicMic's heelwork very good. She's quite fast in her turns and auto-sit... and always close to Bb... quite impressed with this little girl... she received couple of praises for this... :) but her stand is still abit weak... need to improve~~~

Stand for examination

- Ok.. tried out couple of times.. Trainer Chris tried circling ard her and touching her.. she seems fine but need to reinforce still~~

Recall

- Last time I saw she will run forward to Bb but the sitting in front of handler still requires more training... but her heel back to handler's side is ok!!

Sit & Down stay

- More stable than before... sit stay 2~3 mins ok... but she inherited Schnappi's bad habit of kaypo-ness... she likes to turn her head all over to look here look there... even to the extent of turning 180 degrees around... hahaha!! So her down stay cannot meet the requirements... :P more practice needed!!

Overall results still satisfactory.. Bb hopes Micole can do well in the coming Pre-Novice trial... maybe a placing hopefully... :) JIA YOU~~~

Training the noti girls..

Recently Bb started training Schnappi and Micole together... every night the 2 girls will happily go out together, esp Micole. She's now extremely excited when Bb comes home... guess she knows she'll go for her walk with jie-jie soon... :) couple of nights ago, Bb demostrated how he managed to line them up.. Micole in front and Schnappi behind... then with 1 command DOWN, both went down in line together... of course to many this is no big feat. But i was truely amazed by the little demo... knowing my dogs esp Micole who's extremely playful ard Schnappi, I was VERY pleased with what she can do now... really!!

While at training yesterday, I saw that Micole's recall became better than before and she managed to sit stay for 2 mins too... round of applause for Bb's effort. I haven't seen her training for sometime, cuz when I'm ard, she's always distracted... hence this gave me a good excuse to laze in front of my TV... muahaha!! Bb has decided to sign her up for Pre-novice the next trial... woo hoo~~

Also we have a new classmate yesterday... a MS... but dunno her name yet... our intermediate class is growing now and this is of course good news... And heard Turner fractured his leg... no wonder habent seen him in training recently... hope he gets well soon... and Claudia too... hope we'll see her and baby Chloe soon too!!
